Physiotherapists work in a great variety of settings such as orthopaedics, sport traumatology and musculoskeletal treatment, intensive care, pneumology, paediatrics, mental illness, neurology and stroke recovery, occupational health, ergonomics and care of the elderly.
They work in hospitals, rehabilitation centers and private practices.
Core skills used by registered physiotherapists include therapeutic exercise, manaul therapy, massage techniques and the application of electrophysical modalities.
